YOUTH FOOTBALL
BUILT FOR THE TRENCHES.

Football is won in the first two steps and the fourth quarter. Trinity's football training builds the explosive speed, contact-ready strength, and conditioning that let a young player win his rep and finish the game — programmed by position, from Pop Warner through varsity.

What we train for football

Youth football training in Long Beach.

01

Explosive first-step speed

Acceleration and 10-yard-burst mechanics — the get-off that beats a blocker or closes on the ball. Drilled with real coaching cues, not just cone chaos.

02

Contact strength

Trap-bar and hinge-based strength that holds up at the point of contact, scaled to the athlete's age and stage — power without wrecking a growing body.

03

Fourth-quarter conditioning

Repeat-effort work so the last drive looks like the first. Energy-system training matched to how football is actually played — bursts, not jogs.

04

Position-aware programming

A lineman, a running back, and a corner don't train the same. The program is built around what the position demands.

  1. 01 What age can my kid start football training at Trinity?

As young as 7. The youngest players focus on movement, coordination, sprint mechanics, and bodyweight strength; older athletes progress into loaded strength and position-specific power work. Everything scales to the athlete's stage of development.

  2. 02 Do you train football players by position?

Yes. A lineman needs different qualities than a skill-position player, so the program reflects that — first-step and change-of-direction for skill positions, anchor strength and leverage for the line, repeat-effort conditioning for everyone.

  3. 03 Can you train around our Pop Warner or high-school season?

That's how we program. Off-season we build speed, strength, and size; in-season we shift to maintenance and load management so your athlete stays fast and healthy through the schedule.

  4. 04 Is football strength training safe for a young athlete?

When it's supervised and age-appropriate, yes. Major sports-medicine authorities including the NSCA and the American Academy of Pediatrics endorse properly coached youth resistance training — and it's one of the best things a young football player can do for injury resilience against contact.
