YOUTH & STUDENT ATHLETES
BUILT FOR THE NEXT LEVEL.
The kids who make varsity, earn the scholarship, and start on the travel team don't get there by accident — they train for it. Trinity's youth-athlete trainers build speed, strength, and durability into athletes ages 7 through 18, programmed for the sport they actually play.
Who it's for
Youth athlete training in Long Beach, built around the sport.
- Middle- and high-school athletes trying to make the team — or start on it
- Travel-ball, club, and select players who need an off-season edge
- Kids ages 7+ building athletic foundations the right way
- Parents who want real coaching, not a babysitter with a whistle
- College athletes home for summer keeping their engine running
What we train
Sport-specific, not generic.
Football
Explosive first-step speed, contact strength, and the conditioning to finish the fourth quarter. Position-aware programming from Pop Warner through varsity.
Youth football training →Baseball
Rotational power, arm care, and lateral quickness for travel-ball and high-school players. Built for the long season, not one bullpen.
Youth baseball training →Basketball
Vertical, change-of-direction, and repeat-sprint conditioning for club and school hoopers. Girls and boys, guard to post.
Youth basketball training →Soccer
Repeat-sprint capacity, hip strength, and cutting mechanics that reduce knee-injury risk and win 50-50 balls.
Youth soccer training →Volleyball
Jump height, landing mechanics, and shoulder durability for hitters and setters who play year-round club schedules.
Youth volleyball training →Lacrosse
Acceleration, dodging agility, and the full-field conditioning to run all four quarters. For middle- and high-school players building toward varsity and club.
Youth lacrosse training →How we program it
Development, done right.
Athletic assessment first
Before any load, your trainer screens movement, sprint mechanics, and jump-landing quality. The program is built around the athlete's body and sport — not a one-size template.
Speed & agility that transfers
Acceleration, deceleration, and change-of-direction drilled with real coaching cues — so it shows up in the game, not just on the turf.
Age-appropriate strength
Bodyweight and technique first for the youngest athletes; progressive loading for teens. Evidence-based, supervised, and safe — the way youth strength training is supposed to be done.
Built around the season
Off-season we build the engine; in-season we maintain and manage load so your athlete peaks when it counts and stays healthy through the schedule.
Schools & clubs we serve
Student-athletes from across Long Beach.
Trinity welcomes youth and student-athletes from middle schools, high schools, and club programs throughout Long Beach and the surrounding area — building the speed, strength, and durability that show up on Friday night and in tournament weekends.

01 What ages do you train at Trinity?
Our youth-athlete trainers work with athletes from age 7 through 18, plus college athletes home on break. The youngest athletes start with movement, coordination, and bodyweight foundations; teens progress into full sport-specific strength and speed work.
-
02 Do you train for specific sports?
Yes. Trinity's youth trainers program specifically for football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse — with sport-specific speed, strength, and conditioning. We coach the qualities each position actually needs, not generic circuits.
-
03 Is strength training safe for kids and teenagers?
When it's supervised and age-appropriate, yes. Major sports-medicine authorities — including the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics — endorse properly coached, age-appropriate resistance training for kids and teens, and note that injury rates in supervised youth strength programs are lower than in most youth team sports. Trinity trainers scale everything to the athlete's stage of development, and every session is coached on the floor.
-
04 My kid plays travel ball or club — can you work around the season?
That's exactly how we program. Off-season we build strength, speed, and capacity; in-season we shift to maintenance and load management so your athlete stays fresh and healthy through a long schedule of games and tournaments.
-
05 Do you offer speed and agility training on its own?
Yes. Some athletes come to Trinity purely for speed and agility development, others fold it into a full strength & conditioning program. Your trainer will build the mix around the athlete's sport and goals.
-
06 How much does youth athlete training cost?
Each trainer sets their own rates, typically $80–$150 per session, with package pricing available. Book a free intro and we'll match your athlete with the right trainer for their sport and talk through options.
