Your First Visit to Trinity: What Actually Happens in a Free Intro

Walk through exactly what to expect when you book a free intro at Trinity Training Facility — from check-in to the floor walk to the trainer match.

Most gyms hand you a clipboard, walk you through 20 minutes of treadmills, then pitch you on a 12-month contract. Trinity is different. Here's what actually happens when you book a free intro.

Before you arrive

You'll get a confirmation email with parking instructions (free street + the public lot on 4th), what to wear (anything you can move in), and a 4-question intake: what are your goals, any injuries or surgeries, training history, and schedule. The intake takes two minutes. We read it before you get here so the conversation starts at the right place.

Check-in (5 minutes)

Front desk greets you by name. Bottle of water, towel if you want one. We'll introduce you to whoever's on shift and walk you back to the floor.

The floor walk (15 minutes)

You'll see all seven rooms — The Floor, The Ring, The Treatment Room, The Sauna, Recovery Zone, Private Studios, and the Meals by Mel pickup. You'll see how the membership tiers map to which rooms you get access to. Ask everything — this is your time.

The trainer match (15 minutes)

Based on your intake, we'll recommend 2–3 Trinity trainers whose specialty matches what you're trying to do. You'll meet at least one of them in person. The match matters — a strength trainer is wrong for someone training to fight; a boxing trainer is wrong for someone rehabbing an ACL. All 43 trainers are profiled on the site too.

The movement screen (15 minutes, optional)

If you're here to train, your matched trainer will run a basic movement screen — squat pattern, overhead reach, single-leg balance, hip mobility. Not a max test. We're looking for asymmetries and limitations that the first program needs to address.

The conversation (10 minutes)

You'll sit down with your trainer and walk through what your first 4–8 weeks would look like, what you'd cost, and what cadence makes sense. No pressure to sign anything that day. We'll send a written summary to your email so you can make the decision on your own time.

What you won't experience

  • A 12-month contract pitch
  • Supplement upsells
  • "This deal expires today" pressure tactics
  • A trainer you don't click with telling you you're their soulmate client
  • Being passed off to a sales manager who has never trained anyone

Book your free intro — takes 90 seconds.

  1. 01 Is the free intro really free?

Yes. No payment, no card on file, no contract obligation. Trinity gives every prospective member a free intro because matching the right trainer to the right person is how we earn the long relationship.

  2. 02 How long does the free intro take?

Plan for about an hour. 5 minutes check-in, 15 minutes floor walk, 15 minutes meeting trainers, 15 minutes optional movement screen, 10 minutes conversation. We respect your time.

  3. 03 Do I need to bring anything?

Athletic clothes, sneakers, and a water bottle if you want one (we have water on-site). Hand wraps if you want to hit a bag in The Ring. That's it.
