The Story

Rebuilt after a back fracture, coaching others back.

Aydin Mosaddad's fitness story began with wanting to lose weight and become a better football and rugby player after being bullied for being overweight. Sports built confidence, but a back fracture in college challenged everything: Aydin was told rugby and lifting might be over for good.

With guidance from physical therapy, and exposure to athletic trainers and orthopedic professionals, Aydin learned to understand movement and rebuild, eventually returning to lifting and Division I collegiate rugby. That experience shaped the purpose behind the coaching: helping people find their way back to the gym and believe progress is possible. Aydin is pursuing a future in physical therapy while coaching as a personal trainer.

Credentials

Kinesiology degree, three certifications.

Aydin holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a fitness emphasis from California State University, Long Beach, and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) Mobility Specialist, with CPR and AED certification. Alongside collegiate rugby, Aydin's athletic background includes wrestling and football.

Aydin is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, not a medical provider, physical therapist or licensed dietitian. Talk to your doctor before starting a new training program, especially with an injury or a health condition.

The Specialty

Weight loss, mobility and performance.

Aydin specializes in weight loss, mobility and performance, and enjoys working with busy professionals, mothers and fathers struggling to fit fitness into their lives, and athletes pursuing their potential. Aydin especially connects with people who have tried repeatedly, felt discouraged or wondered whether their goals were even possible.

The Approach

Technique first, then intensity.

Aydin's approach starts with technique, then intensity, tailoring training to your capabilities and goals and emphasizing movement understanding while gradually building the strength and joint capacity to handle greater demands.

Each session begins with a warm-up informed by your goals and injury history, followed by a structured workout and a cooldown that includes mobility and flexibility work. Nutritional guidance and scheduled check-ins support your efforts between sessions. Sessions run on The Floor.

Client Story

Back to the climbing wall.

One client came to Aydin believing her bodyweight made returning to rock climbing impossible. The beginning was challenging, but she steadily built momentum. Over twelve months, she lost sixty pounds and started climbing again. Aydin says seeing her return to something she loved captures why Aydin coaches. Individual results vary.

Purpose, Faith & Community

What matters outside the numbers.

Trinity's values of Purpose, Faith and Community reflect what matters to Aydin. Aydin's purpose is to support people who have struggled to find their footing. Faith is strong, and Aydin values being surrounded by people working to become their best selves.

Outside the gym, Aydin loves cooking, fishing, watching football and rugby, and, recently, Pokémon cards.

How Aydin Trains

Individual or small group, starting with an assessment.

Aydin offers individual personal training and small-group training for couples, friends, colleagues and athletes. Getting started includes a free, in-depth movement assessment covering your joints and a body composition assessment that estimates body fat, muscle mass and hydration, a chance to discuss your goals and set a starting point.

Is Aydin Right For You?

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
AT TRINITY.

All Strength & Conditioning trainers →

Strength is the foundation everything else stacks on. Trinity's strength & conditioning trainers build athletes, professionals, and lifelong residents who want to move heavy, recover hard, and keep doing it for decades.

01

ASSESSMENT FIRST

Movement screen, training history, current lifts. Your trainer builds the program around your body — not a template they hand to every client.

02

PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD THAT HOLDS UP

Programmed cycles with deloads built in. You'll see the numbers move week over week without burning out.

03

CONDITIONING THAT DOESN'T KILL YOUR LIFTS

Energy-system work paired with strength training, not against it. Capacity grows. Recovery improves. Strength stays.

04

TRAINING ON THE FLOOR

Hands-on cues, video review, real-time form correction. Every session has a trainer who's watching.

Who Aydin’s clients tend to be

  • Lifters chasing real PRs — not gym numbers
  • Athletes whose sport demands repeatable power
  • Professionals returning to the iron after years away
  • Anyone tired of training without a program
